Curriculum Statement

Oakfield Park we teach a broad and balanced curriculum through 7 curriculum Strands, 6 at Post 16.  Due to the wide range of abilities in school we have a informal curriculum, a semi-formal curriculum and a bespoke formal Post 16 curriculum.

Frances Gambles KS3, years 7, 8 and 9.

Kathie Burns KS4, years 10 and 11.

Assessment

We assess all students throughout the year on a regular basis. (Daily through to termly).  All our assessments have the students Education, health and care plan (EHCP) outcomes at the heart and focus on ensuring our students are prepared for the next phases in their lives.  Accreditation is focused on students in Key stage 4 and Post 16 where appropriate.
